The only rule in Need for Speed Most Wanted is to race without rules. There’s a start and a finish to every race – but how the player races, where and when they choose to compete, and the skills they choose to compete with – are all up to the player. It isn’t enough to be the Most Wanted amongst rivals and cops. Now players will fight for ultimate bragging rights amongst their friends thanks to Autolog. As the original inventors of the ground-breaking, friend-connecting Autolog technology,

Criterion establishes once again a new standard in social competition by recommending gameplay challenges across a players’ social network within both single player and multiplayer game play. In Need for Speed Most Wanted, everything players do will earn Speed Points that will take them up the Most Wanted list – from competing for best race times and battling cops in pursuits for the highest scores, to catching the most air off a huge ramp and more. Autolog 2 keeps intense competition at the heart of the experience – if there’s something to do, there’s someone to beat. And for the first time, Autolog recommendations extend to enhance the multiplayer experience within Need for Speed Most Wanted. With no lobbies or wait times, gamers will seamlessly enter an online world and immediately receive a rapid-fire delivery of Speed and Skill Tests. Autolog 2 will make recommendations to players to help finesse their racing prowess, further fuelling endless competition and hours of entertainment.

Key Features

  • Race without Rules. The only rule in Most Wanted is to race without rules. There’s a start and a finish to every race – but how the player races, where and when they choose to compete, and the skills they choose to compete with – are all up to the player.
  • Freedom in an Open World. From the moment the game starts, the entire world is open and ready to explore as gamers race to become the Most Wanted. The exciting open world gives players the freedom to explore more than just the road - drive above street level and jump in, out or over other building and objects. The world opens up and challenges players to test their racing skills, awareness of the terrain, knowledge of the world and mastery of weapons to take down their rivals.
  • Epic Cop Chases at the Heart of the Competit io n. As soon as a player is spotted speeding, crashing or driving dangerously anywhere in Fairhaven City, cops are alerted and the heat is on! Heat on the player will increase the longer a chase continues, escalating faster if the player disables or destroys police vehicles.
  • Competition Anytime, Anywhere. With Autolog 2, the next evolution of the ground-breaking, friend-connecting Autolog technology, players can once again recommend gameplay challenges across a their social network, but this time within both single player and multiplayer gameplay. Everything the player does earns Speed Points that will take them up the Most Wanted list – from competing for best race times and racing for the highest scores in a pursuit, to grabbing the fastest time and more. Autolog powers the player’s way to the top by automatically populating the map with challenges, helping locate friends in-game, and tracking progress and accomplishments – both offline and online. If there’s something to do, there’s someone to beat.
  • Continuous Multiplayer Action. No menus.  No lobbies.  No restrictions. Most Wanted introduces a new style of nonstop multiplayer action that continually serves up rewards and challenges so gamers are constantly one-upping their friends. Whether it’s competing for the best starting position, the ultimate jump, or finishing first place, with the introduction of the new PlayList system, Most Wanted serves up constant gameplay and robust challenges to ensure fun, friendly, non-stop competition.

FIFA 13

Five game-changing innovations revolutionize artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and physical play to create a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, deliver freedom and creativity in attack, and capture all the drama and unpredictability of real-world football.

All-new Attacking Intelligence infuses players with the most sophisticated artificial intelligence ever achieved. Players have the ability to analyse space, work harder and smarter to break down the defence, and think two plays ahead. Now every touch matters with the most comprehensive and intuitive dribbling system ever developed for the franchise. Inspired by the world’s best player, Lionel Messi, Complete Dribbling enables players to face their opponent and use precise dribble touches combined with true 360° mobility with the ball, so it’s easier to be more creative and dangerous in 1v1 opportunities. FIFA 13 1st Touch Control transforms the way players control the ball, eliminating near-perfect touch for every player on the pitch, and creating more opportunities for defenders to win back possession. The second generation of the Player Impact Engine expands physical play from just collisions to off-the-ball battles between players. Defenders can push and pull for position, and utilise their size and strength to force opponents into poor touches and decisions before the ball arrives.FIFA 13 Tactical Free Kicks provides the tools to create dangerous and unpredictable free kicks. Position up to three players over the ball and utilise dummy runs and more passing options to outwit your opponent.

FIFA 13 with Kinect enables you to use voice commands to manage your club’s lineup and tactics without pausing the game, shout directions on the pitch in Be A Pro, and forces you to temper the way you talk to officials.

Key Features
  • Attacking Intelligence—All-new positioning intelligence infuses attacking players with the ability to analyse plays, and to better position themselves to create new attacking opportunities. Players will work harder and smarter to break down defences, make runs that pull defenders out of position, and open passing channels for teammates. Plus, players possess an off-the-ball vision and the ability to think two plays ahead to create, curve, or alter runs to capitalize on openings as they occur.
  • Complete Dribbling— Make every touch matter with complete control of the ball. Take on defenders with the freedom to be more creative in attack. Players are more explosive accelerating with the ball, and utilise precise dribble touches with true 360° mobility with the ball while facing a defender.  Face an opponent to threaten attack while moving with the ball in any direction to dodge tackles, or turn and shield the ball, maintaining position, and holding off defenders for longer stretches.
  • FIFA 13 1st Touch Control—A new system eliminates near-perfect control for every player by creating uncertainty when receiving difficult balls. Poor passes are harder to control, enabling defenders to capitalize on errant balls and poor touches. Factors such as defensive pressure, trajectory of the ball, and velocity of the pass all factor into a player’s success. Players with better control and skill stand out. Fewer perfect touches, the potential to over hit passes, more opportunity for loose balls, and greater balance between defending and attacking.
  • Player Impact Engine—The second generation of the award-winning physics engine expands physical play from just collisions to off-the-ball battles, giving defenders more tools to win back possession. Defenders can use their body to win possession, push and pull for position, and utilise their size and strength to force opponents into poor touches and decisions before the ball arrives.
  • FIFA 13 Tactical Free Kicks—Create dangerous and unpredictable free kicks. Position up to three attacking players over the ball and confuse opponents with dummy runs, more passing options, and more elaborate free kicks. Opponents can counter by adding or subtracting players to the wall, creeping the wall forward, or sending a bullet man to intercept the pass or block the shot.
  • Voice Commands – Administer your squad the wayreal-world managers organize their clubs during a match. Use voice commands to instantly activate tactics, change formations, or initiate substitutions, and enjoythe strategic advantage ofmanaging your club without pausing the game.
  • On Pitch Commands – Think, react and play like a professional footballer utilising voice commands on the pitch in Be A Pro mode. Shout for a pass, send a teammate on a run or call for a shot the way real footballers communicate on the pitch.
  • Referee Feedback – Referees and linesmen are influenced by what they hear. Coarse language directed towards an official may be mentioned by commentators or influence a referee’s strictness and decision-making around fouls and bookings, the same way it does in real life. Plus, storylines will develop in Career Mode when players and managers let their emotions get the better of them.

Phantasy Star Online 2

Sega has announced it will be releasing Phantasy Star Online 2 in Europe and North America in 2013.
The free-to-play MMO launched in Japan on July 4 and is in development for PC, PS Vita as well as iOS and Android devices.  The press release, which can be seen at PSO World, only appears to relate to the PC version.
The number one thing we want to provide players inPhantasy Star Online 2 is an adventure that changes every time they log in.
Sega America's digital chief Chris Olson said, "Phantasy Star Online was a revolutionary game when it was released, and we want to make sure that its successor in the series is every bit as ambitious. We look forward to introducing Phantasy Star Online 2’s unique, easy-to-access multiplayer action to the rest of the world next year!"
PSO2 producer Satoshi Sakai added, "The number one thing we want to provide players inPhantasy Star Online 2 is an adventure that changes every time they log in. Just as great table-top RPG experiences revolve around imaginative and unexpected encounters, we want players to consistently be surprised as they explore dungeons and undertake quests."
The original Phantasy Star Online launched on Dreamcast back in 2001.  Phantasy Star Online 2 takes place in the Year 238, the New Era of Light, where players will join a new band of Arcs in the fight against mysterious D-Arkers.  The game features real-time combat alongside class-based levelling, and embraces a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy aesthetics.
A teaser website for the game is now live, and you can check out the announcement trailer below.

Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge

Up until this point, Frima Studios has been as big as one can be in the realm of PlayStation Mini development. Zombie Tycoon and A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks were both successful Minis, but as Frima executive producer Martin Brouard put it "In terms of sales, it’s not as high as we would have liked." So, Frima is walking away from Mini development for the time being and focusing on its next full PlayStation Network game.

"Minis are not the priority for anyone except maybe the Mini developers," Brouard said. "I think we will reach more people by doing regular PSN titles or retail titles that are actually going to see some marketing."

It's a fair point considering that Minis are out of sight on the PlayStation Store's main page, lack Trophies, and, in large part, are simply ignored by the media, but that's not to say Frima doesn't see a point in the downloads.

“The Minis idea is really good," Brouard said. "I think they should be much more popular than they are. It’s a super good entry point into being able to publish on PlayStation."

Still, Frima and Brouard are moving away from Minis with Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge, a real-time strategy game with full single player and multiplayer modes as well as crossplay between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Even though that's easier said than done.

"We are in the middle of making this work," Brouard said. "I’m crossing my fingers that it’ll go super smooth, but I think it’s going to be a challenge."

Being a crossplay title, Frima Games has focused on making it accessible for a console audience. The game revolves around you leading a horde of undead into battle for the fate of the universe; IGN didn't see the game in action as it's just a prototype now and scheduled for 2013 release. Zombie Tycoon 2 gameplay will be streamlined so that all of your important positions are on face buttons – one button for your mobile base (if you lose it you lose the game), two for your zombie squads, and one for your hero. You’ll be able to select from four different heroes, and each hero will have different abilities (and thus strategies) to choose from. As Brouard states, “It’s a little bit inspired by [multiplayer online battle arena] titles – we want to use what we like from both [RTS and MOBA]."

When taken into multiplayer, many RTS games are focused on large battles that can last upwards of an hour, but the online here is focused with one on one matches that can be completed within 15 minutes. If you capture a particular point that has unique features -- i.e. a firehouse -- your zombies will take on those features and affect the dynamic of a game -- i.e. zombies who are now immune to fire traps.

Though Frima Studios made its name being one of the most successful PlayStation Mini developers, Brouard is ready to move on -- not only because of the technical possibilities but because of the shift in expectations.

"When [Minis first] launched, it was at the same time as the App store started launching a lot of $0.99 games," Brouard said. "And I remember when we launched Zombie Tycoon at $7.99, people were like 'Woah, this is crazy! I should be able to buy all these games for $0.99 cents -- even better, they should all be free.' And that's a little hard; we still have to make money."

Jet Set Radio

This downloadable game brings the classic Dreamcast game to the Xbox 360.

The government is attempting to silence the kids of Tokyo, but with their Overdrive Magnetic-Motor Skating Shoes, the cops will have to catch 'em first. The Jet Set Radio program keeps the kids unified and inspired to fight for their rights of expression, which includes graffiti art. Grab your spray cans and design your own piece on one of the immense walls in the 3D, interactive city. You might be forced to protect your territory from adversaries that want to take over your neighborhood. Join up with like-minded hip individuals that will help you keep your area the way you want it.

The cops will be after you too, so you'll have to be quick. The 10 cartoon-style characters are pumped up with polygons so they come alive in 3D. Uniqueness is key to these kids and each character stands apart with exclusive abilities and style. They like to show off too, and with 18 missions, there's plenty of time to impress. It's fast, it's fun, and it's definitely funky.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection

The Zone of the Enders series is set in the late 22nd century. Mankind has colonized Mars, and space colonies are also set up in orbit around Jupiter. Fueling this expansion are two scientific advances: the development of the Laborious Extra-Orbital Vehicle, or LEV, a mecha used for labor and military use, and the discovery of Metatron, a high-energy ore found on Callisto.

However, those in power on Earth begin to take a dim view of the colonists of Mars and Jupiter, calling them "Enders", and imposing harsh and exploitive laws and taxes against them. Eventually, different groups on Mars begin to rise up in opposition to Earth. A new weapon given to these rebels is the Orbital Frame, a mecha making extensive use of Metatron-based technology. These Orbital Frames come to shape the destiny of Earth and its colonies, for both good and evil.
